Hundreds of fairs, markets, and neighborhood parties are held in North Minneapolis each year. With all the food waste, packaging, and beverage containers, a lot of waste can be generated at events of any size. BALL has committed to green area events with outdoor options, waste-reduction information, educating vendors, train volunteers, and finding collection options.
In order to encourage the GREEN event, BALL offers free event listing online, monthly eNewsletter, and throw-in Tips to turn the event into a Green Event. BALL encourages neighbors to share any North Minneapolis neighborhood events and safety/crime reduction activities with us.
